A Largs-based charity is looking to hire a summer assistant to give children with cancer a trip of a lifetime.
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, based at Largs Yacht Haven, is looking to hire a full-time summer trip assistant to deliver sailing and outdoor adventure excursions from May until September.
Founded by the record-breaking yachtswoman Dame Ellen MacArthur on the Isle of Wight in 2003, the trust opened its second base in Largs in 2013.
The charity has given 3,000 young cancer survivors a trip around the UK using its yachts.
The applicant must be passionate about helping young people, have exceptional attention to detail, be able to take direction and continue tasks individually, and have a can-do attitude.
The role is £11.50 per hour with 23 days of annual leave.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 7, with interviews starting from Monday, February 12.
