CalMac has issued a warning about possible disruption to ferry services over the weekend due to high winds.
A yellow warning is in place for the route between Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21. The warning was issued within the last hour.
High winds reaching up to 47mph are forecast for early morning and evening on Saturday, while winds are expected to rise between 45mph and 58mph between noon and 9pm on Sunday, as can be seen here - https://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/largs.
A Cal Mac spokesperson said: This service is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice due to adverse weather. This is in relation to a forecast of strong winds."
