Heavy ferry and rail disruption will affect people in Largs and Millport over the coming 24 hours as high winds from Storm Isha batter the Clyde Coast.
There is heavy surface water in Brisbane Glen Road in Largs this evening.
Ferry services between Largs and the Isle of Cumbrae have been suspended for the rest of today as of 2.25pm today (Sunday), as the area braces itself for Storm Isha.
Weather disruption was on the cards after CalMac issued a weather warning 48 hours beforehand.
CalMac have now warned that the disruption will run into Monday.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "Due to adverse weather, all sailings on this route are cancelled for the remainder of the day.
"Due to a forecast of adverse weather, the morning service has been suspended.
There will be a review at 8am regarding later sailings.
A replacement bus service has been on operation on the Largs line today due to engineering works on the line but ScotRail have cancelled trains tomorrow morning too.
All train services in Scotland are to be suspended from 7pm on Sunday.
Network Rail says concern about Storm Isha means there will also be no rush hour train service on Monday morning.
Managing Director of ScotRail Alex Hynes said: "On Monday 22nd January, this service is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice due to adverse weather."
"All train services have been cancelled for Monday morning and is expected to continue to mid afternoon.
"The incoming storm that reaches us this evening will be highly disruptive today and tomorrow.
"We will suspend services or impose speed restrictions across the entire country. This is to keep customers and staff safe. Please check before you travel."
Heavy surface water on Brisbane Glen Road has also returned this evening.
Resident Frank Alexander said: "Glen Road flooding again due to a blocked drain at the bus stop.
"It does not appear to have been cleared after the resurfacing work carried out some weeks ago."
And a tree has fallen down on approach to the castle in Skelmorlie, just past Stirrats Farm, blocking traffic.
