Cumbrae residents are being urged to share their views on the proposed option for the reconstruction of the slipway and landside facilities at the ferry slip.
The public engagement event about the Cumbrae Slipway Reconstruction Project will take place at The Garrison on Thursday, January 25, between 2pm and 7pm.
The purpose of this exhibition is to provide islanders with an update on the project and provide the opportunity to comment before the submission of the marine license application.
The preferred option is to construct an offline slipway 30m south of the existing slipway, maintaining the service from the existing slipway during construction.
Ferry port company CMAL (Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd) is leading the delivery of the project and seeking feedback from the public and stakeholders.
Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions and share more details about the project.
An online consultation survey will also be available in due course at https://www.cmassets.co.uk/project/cumbrae-slipway-reconstruction/.
CMAL own the ferries, ports, harbours and infrastructure necessary for vital ferry services serving Scotland.
