Motorists are being warned about upcoming roadworks set to place on the A78 this week.
'Stop and Go' signs will be in place at Hunterston from Monday to Friday due to general road maintenance carried out by Amey.
There will be a short stop for the installation of tubes as part of traffic surveys on the A78 in Fairlie between 11am and noon on Tuesday, January 30. Amey anticipates little or no delay.
Network Rail will be in Fairlie on Monday with portable traffic lights and a contraflow system in place for utility works.
Portable traffic lights will also be in place in Irvine Road for utility works in relation to BT and Morrison's on Thursday and Friday, from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.
Road resurfacing is due to be taking place between Largs and Fairlie from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.
In Skelmorlie's Shore Road, at the junction with Longhill, road resurfacing will also be carried out overnight between Friday and Saturday.
From Monday, drainage works will take place on the same road every day, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, and is scheduled to continue into mid-February.

The ongoing works outside the Waterside Hotel will be continuing until Friday, February 9, for drainage improvements, with reported issues early Sunday afternoon due to faulty lights. The matter has been reported to Amey.
