HOUSEHOLDERS in Largs have been hit with a warning over their water supplies after a problem was reported in the area.
Residents with a KA30 postcode may notice disruption to their water on Tuesday morning after supplier Scottish Water reported the problem.
The utility company has confirmed that engineers are heading to the area to investigate the issue.
That means homes in the town may find their water cut off or experience low/intermittent pressure or discoloured water.
The company says it will provide an update at 12pm.
A Scottish Water statement said: "Customers in Largs have reported an interruption to their water supply.
We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.
"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure.
"You may also experience discoloured water."
