A big charity day taking place in Largs has 'plenty of bottle' thanks to Morrison's supermarket.
The Irvine Road store has donated over 100 bottles of water to Dementia Friendly Largs & District for their Memory Walk in the summer.
Robbie Stevenson, chairman of the group, visited the store yesterday to pick them up.
The Largs Dementia Friendly group held its first such event in September last year, with more than 80 people taking part.
And the group has now confirmed that the event will return in 2024.
A Morrison's spokesperson said: "We donated over 100 bottles of water to our friends at the Largs Dementia Friendly Group. They will be used towards the second "Memory Walk" which will be held at Barrfields Park on Saturday, 2nd June 2024, after the success of last year's event."
"Funds raised at the event, run by Largs Dementia Friendly and Alzheimer's Scotland, will be spilt between the Dementia Friendly Group and the volunteer driver service charity run by local charity North Ayrshire Cancer Care."
Last year's event gave participants the chance to walk for as many - or as few - laps of the pitch at Barrfields Park as they wished, with 10 laps working out at two and a half miles.
All participants were asked to wear purple in a nod to Alzheimer Scotland's corporate colour, with a total of £650 raised. For more details about this year's event, go here
