A woman was rushed to hospital after being knocked down in a village.
The incident happened in The Shores area of Skelmorlie.
The 65-year-old was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital, with multiple emergency service vehicles responding to the incident on Saturday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.44pm on Saturday, 3 February, to a report of a car hitting a pedestrian in The Shores area of Skelmorlie.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 65-year-old woman, was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.”
