The Mudhook Whisky Club have arranged for a key figure in the Scottish Whisky Industry to be the main man at a charity tasting night in Fairlie.

Billy Walker, owner and master distiller at The GlenAllachie Distillers Company, will be offering his expertise at Fairlie Bowling Club on March 22.

Billy is an internationally renowned and highly respected stalwart of the Scottish Whisky Industry for more than 50 years.

He will be sharing his whisky journey and samples of his great products from the GlenAllachie distillery.

This is a unique opportunity which is not to be missed for those with an interest in Scotch whisky. It will also provide the opportunity for you to ask questions of the master himself.

The evening starts at 7.30pm with whisky tasting, tasty morsels to enjoy, a bottle auction and a whisky quiz to round things off.

Billy himself will auction one of his bottles and personally sign it for the winning bidder. All proceeds raised on the night will go to local charities in the village and surrounding areas.
