A historic occasion performed in town for centuries happened at the Largs Masonic Hall when the annual installation ceremony took place.
The Right Worshipful Master (RWM) of the St John's no.173 lodge in Frazer Street in Largs was installed as Les Pearson.
This will be Les's second stint in the role for 2024, after previously taking charge on 2015-2016.
The installation ceremony included the following: 1st time Bro Stephen McConnachie, Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Ayrshire and other provincial guests.
The prestigious event also included the installing of Masters : Bro Colin Boyd P.M 320 Bro Alan A Buntain P.M 173 Bro William Kirkpatrick P.M 173 Bro Andrew H McIntyre P.M 173.
The Lodge was full to capacity for the installation of RWM Les Pearson and officebearers.
The Largs 173 Social Club has been praised over the years for its charitable efforts in the community as well as having one of the best run venues in the area including a large hall, bar, pool room area and offices hosting a range of freemasonry memorabilia.
