Millport is maintaining its Country and Western music connections by hosting another big name artiste next month.
While the Country Music festival didn't go ahead last year, the Newton Bar on the island has managed to attract one of its major talents, who is already familiar with the island, having wowed audiences at a previous festival in Millport.
A spokesperson for Cumbrae Promotions said: "We are delighted to announce an evening of country music at The Newton Bar in Millport on Friday, March 22 that will feature a performance by the brand new 2024 BCMA Horizon Award winner, Robyn Red Official.
"Robyn has previously played our Millport Country Music Festival and Country In The Afternoon events, so we know just how good she is and, judging by her performance at the BCMA Awards ceremony in Liverpool on Sunday, she is getting better with every passing month.
"This young lady is really going places so this is a terrific opportunity to see her perform an intimate show in Millport.
"After the live music, attendees can dance the rest of the night away to country bangers, old and new."
Tickets are available in advance from The Newton Bar in person or by phone on 01475 530920.
