SCOUTS in Skelmorlie have helped to freshen up the wardrobes of plenty of local residents through their annual clothes sale fund-raiser.
Any spare T-shirts, polo shirts, jumpers, trousers, hoodies and jackets were handed in to the Scouts for the recent event.
It provided the perfect opportunity for village residents of all ages to give their wardrobe a bit of a refresh as the end of winter draws nearer - at the same time as helping the Scouts, also known as the 71st Ayrshire, continue their work with local young people.
The group, which has been delivering activities to local young people for more than 80 years, were also on the lookout for shoes, shorts, slippers, sandals, hats, scarves, gloves, jewellery, handbags, backpacks, belts and caps.
The clothes sale, which also includes hot drinks and the all important lovely cake, took place across three days at the village's Scout Hall, in The Lane.
A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank everybody who made the event such a success."
