A hotel in Largs has been named in a list of companies across the UK that failed to pay workers the minimum wage.
His Majesty's Revenue and Customs has published a list of more than 500 companies across the UK that it says failed to pay either one or several staff members the correct amount.
Employers on the list were ordered to repay the amount - and also faced penalties for their failure to pay the proper wage originally.
The list states that Mr Iain Smith & Mrs Lorene Smith, owners of The Willowbank Hotel, failed to pay £2,855.93 to five workers.
The business has been contacted for comment.
