The Largs-Cumbrae service is returning to normal after being suspended due to a technical fault.
CalMac issued a statement on their website at 12.26pm on Friday, March 8 saying that all services had been suspended.
On their X (formerly Twitter) feed, the interruption was blamed on a "technical issue".
In a further update on X at 12.42pm the company said sailings were resuming and that MV Loch Shira would operate a shuttle service to clear traffic.
However, the technical issue, believed to be a problem with one of the vessel's two vehicle ramps, means the ferry will operate single-ended and that vehicle drivers may be required to reverse on board.
