Ferry services to the Isle of Cumbrae were delayed this morning after a lorry got stuck on the vessel ramp.
CalMac issued a warning to ferry users that the driver of the vehicle got into difficulty at Largs at around 11am on Thursday, March 14 and the service was therefore subject to delays.
The MV Isle of Cumbrae is currently serving the route whilst the Loch Shira is undergoing repairs to the larger vessel.
It is expected that the vessel will return on Friday, March 15.
CalMac had previously urged heavy vehicle traffic to return to Largs from the island before the last MV Loch Shira sailing on Tuesday, March 12, as the Isle of Cumbrae only having a maximum weight limit of 36 tonnes.
At the time of the incident, a spokesperson said: "Due to a vehicle becoming stuck on the vessel ramp at Largs, service is currently delayed.
"We will update as soon as the vehicle has been moved."
It is understood the situation involving lorry was resolved by 1pm.
