Police in Largs are investigating a spike in reported assault incidents in the town.
According to figures in Police Scotland's monthly report to Largs Community Council, six alleged assaults have been reported to local officers in the past month.
The report describes two reported incidents on Friday, March 1, in Allanpark Street and Main Street, and two in Walkerston Avenue, on Saturday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 13.
The other two incidents, according to the police report, both happened close to the town centre - in Gallowgate Lane on Friday, February 16 and in Gateside Street on Wednesday, February 21.
The community council meets on Thursday, March 21 at 7pm in the community hub at Cumbrae Gardens, off Flatt Road.
