PLANS have been submitted to create a private car park with an automatic barrier in West Kilbride.
The site between 120 and 124 Main Street in the town currently lies vacant following the demolition some years ago of the retail building which previously occupied the site.
Proposals have now been submitted to North Ayrshire Council for a private 10-space car park with an automatic barrier for access and electric vehicle charging bays.
Agents Cooper Architects Ltd of West Kilbride are acting on behalf of applicant Microtech Business Intelligence.
The proposals, which can be viewed publicly on North Ayrshire Council's planning portal, are currently pending consideration.
