A STILL Game star has featured in a tourism video to promote holidaying on the Isle of Cumbrae.
Gavin Mitchell, who played Boaby the Barman in the hugely popular BBC series, has made a special appearance in Visit Cumbrae's new video.
The popular Scottish actor is known to be a big fan of the island and has been a regular visitor over the years.
So it was only right for him to help create a video showcasing his favourite island.
In the video, he shares some of the best hospitality venues to visit, the nightlife, and a bucket-list must-do of cycling round the island whilst spotting some of the quirky landmarks.
He also highlighted a few of the wonderful places to stay during a visit to the island - and even pointed out some interesting facts.
The video was discussed during the latest Cumbrae Community Council meeting last week where Isle of Cumbrae Tourism Association (IOCTA), the organisation behind Visit Cumbrae, reported that the content would be a welcome start to the start of the tourism season.
And businesses in the area have showed their support for Mr Mitchell.
The Tavern Bar said: "Fabulous video by IOCTA & Gavin Mitchell promoting our wee island."
And the Isle of Cumbrae Distillers added: "What a fabulous new Millport video, produced by our Tourist Association. Time to plan your next trip!"
