A weekly church fundraiser drive to raise money for a food bank saw a milestone target this week.
The front door of the St Columba's Parish Church was opened again to receive donations for the North Ayrshire Foodbank on March 28.
The weekly donations drive which started at the beginning of this year has now raised over £500 for the organisation and collected over 230 food items.
A church spokesperson said: "A big thank you to those who donated giving in 39 food items plus £60.
"This brings a total of 232 items of food and £502 so far this year. The Ardrossan Foodbank would like to thank everyone for their kind donations.
"The church doors will be open again at 2pm on Thursday, April 4 to receive donations."
