The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Ayrshire for the next two days.
The warning for rain across North Ayrshire and parts of East Ayrshire will run from 2am until 9am tomorrow (April 5).
It is expected to bring some travel disruption for commuters.
Public transport could be impacted, with delays also likely on the roads as driving conditions worsen.
Then from 8am until 10pm on Saturday, April 6, there is a weather warning for wind across the whole of the region.

This could see a small chance of longer, or even cancelled journeys, as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected.
There is also a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
The Met Office said: "A deep area of low pressure will bring a spell of very windy weather to parts of western Britain and Northern Ireland this weekend.
"Gusts of 50 mph are expected quite widely on Saturday, while some exposed spots, particularly on the coast, will see 60 to 70 mph gusts with large waves also likely."
