A charity in Ayrshire are welcoming ladies to their next lunch event - and it is not to late to join them.

The next Ladies who Lunch event is set to take place at the Seamill Hydro Hotel on Thursday, April 11, with tickets costing £25.

A two-course lunch will be served at 1pm with the venue’s doors opening for registration at 12pm.

On the menu for the next lunch is sun blushed tomato, red onion and basil bruschetta with basil pesto, followed by chicken breast filled with basil pesto cream cheese with sauteed greens beans and garlic crispy potatoes.

Each lunch features a speaker and this month's guest is Christine Thompson, who will be chatting to the group about dementia.

However, if this event is too short-notice, Ayrshire Hospice have announced their next events will be on Thursday, May 9 and Thursday, June 13.

Money raised from each lunch and from membership fees will go towards the hospice.
