ScotRail is set to give abandoned bikes a new lease of life by donating them to charity.
The rail operator has announced that any unclaimed bikes left at stations across its routes will be given to Cycling UK.
If bikes aren't reclaimed within three months of them being left, they will be recycled or donated to the charity.
📣 Great news! Abandoned bicycles across Scotland’s railway network are to be given a new lease of life. We're introducing a policy that will see unclaimed bikes left at our stations renewed or recycled. They'll be donated to cycling charity Cycling UK. 🚲♻️ pic.twitter.com/AY2zh1Qhtj
