A mobile health unit providing a valuable service of checks and lifestyle advice is coming to Largs.
The Activator is visiting Largs Promenade on Tuesday, April 30 with people welcome to pop along to make use of the service.
It includes an early intervention service, carrying out health checks that frequently identify potential issues which often result in a person being referred to a medical professional. In some instances, a health condition is then diagnosed and medication is prescribed.
The service can have a tangible impact as the first point of contact and demonstrates the importance of early intervention to prevent further health complications.
A KA Leisure spokesperson said: "Come and see us near the RNLI station on April 30 from 10am-4pm to get your free health check.
"For an optional £5 also have your glucose/ cholesterol checked."
