THE owners of a leading North Ayrshire hotel are celebrating their award success at a national industry ceremony.
The Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride won the title of ‘Best 4 Star Hotel’ in the region at the Prestige Hotel Awards 2024 in Glasgow.
They were also highly recommended in the 'Pet Friendly Hotel' category.
The awards showcase and reward outstanding service across Scotland’s hotel industry following a nationwide public vote.
More than 500 people, representing some of the most prestigious hotels and hospitality businesses across Scotland, were invited to attend the event.
The Waterside, run by Ayrshire hospitality group SimpsInns, has already established itself as one of the region’s leading hotels, leisure and wedding venues since opening its doors in 2013.
Malcolm Simpson from SimpsInns said: "We always go the extra mile to make sure our guests have the best experience at The Waterside, so it means the world to us to have been named ‘Best 4 Star Hotel (South)’ at The Prestige Hotel Awards 2024.
“This latest national award for The Waterside is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication our entire team put in every day to look after our guests and for them to keep coming back.”
As previously reported, the owners have recently announced their plans to open a new sea view spa, first floor resident gym and 17 extra guest rooms this year.
The new spa will feature an indoor sauna and steam room, spa lounge and an outdoor hydro pool.
SimpsInns owns several venues across Ayrshire, including the Gailes Hotel and Spa in Irvine, Si!, also in Irvine, and the Old Loans Inn in Troon.
