A magical moment showing a kayaker having a close encounter with a pod of dolphins has been captured on video off Arran.
The remarkable footage, shared social media, shows the pod passing by on the way up the channel at Lamlash Bay, passing the Holy Isle in the background.
Otter's Tail Arran, which provides kayayking and outdoor adventures on the island, managed to film the pod as it passed by and hailed it as 'dolphin day'.
They told their followers: "Felt privileged to enjoy watching these dolphins for most of the morning.
"They came into Lamlash Bay via the north channel very playfully with lots of acrobatics and then headed for the moorings off of Lamlash Pier where they stayed for a nice long visit."
Thanks to Otter's Tail Arran for the spectacular footage, below.
Otters's Tail Arran offers sea kayaking, gorge and hill walking adventures on Arran, with an emphasis on wildlife.
