A new automatic cash dispenser has been launched in Millport.
Concerns over the closure of the Bank of Scotland recently and the ATM on the island have been frequently raised.
However, Premier Stores on the island's seafront now offers a new ATM facility to provide instant cash for islanders and visitors.
Proposals were lodged by design and planning consultant Des Ager, on behalf of Euronet Worldwide to add an ATM outside Millport Premier's Store on Guildford Street.
The Bank of Scotland closed their branch and ATM nearby earlier this year.
The closure left the islanders with only one option to withdraw and deposit cash without having to travel to the mainland, the Post Office facility inside the Premier Store.
