Important entrance and exit routes to and from West Kilbride are to be closed over the coming weeks for roadworks.
North Ayrshire Council say that diversions will be signposted in relation to all the works taking place.
Meadowfoot Road, from the junction with Ardrossan High Road to Broomhill Farm, closed on Friday at 8am and will re-open on June 21 at 12am.
The road is closed due to drainage and foul connection works, and diversion routes will be signposted.
Yerton Brae carriageway is to be closed from June 17 until June 28, from 8am to 6pm daily. The temporary road closure is for carriageway resurfacing on or near to the public road.
The B7048 Portencross Road will also be closed from June 10 to 21 due to carriageway improvement works.
North Ayrshire Council roads department have also indicated that Law Brae for 25 metres from the Cubrieshaw Street junction on both sides will have no waiting or loading from July 8 to 25 to allow safe access to the underground network.
Villagers in the town have already had to put up with long running roadworks at the Waterside Hotel which ran from October until the start of this month.
