THE Largs Rock Choir is hosting an end of summer term performance to raise funds for an important cause.
The choir will take to the stage at the Dunn Memorial Hall at St John's Church on Monday, June 24 from 1-2pm.
The event is not ticketed, with local music lovers instead being invited to come along and make a donation to Scottish Women's Aid.
Refreshments will be available, and everyone is welcome to the big singalong.
The Rock Choir in Largs is long established in the area, having performed at many Largs Yuletide events, and at several local venues.
Rock Choir is described as being the United Kingdom's original, and the world's largest, contemporary choir.
It offers teenagers and adults the chance to sing contemporary songs without the need to audition, read music or have any previous singing experience.
The Largs choir's vocal coach is Jennifer Scouller, who joined Rock Choir in 2010 and became a music leader a few months later.
She quickly introduced a variety of daytime and evening choirs throughout Glasgow and its surrounding areas, paving the way for the continued growth of the Rock Choir community in Scotland.
