Businesses in Largs and Millport have been getting behind Steve Clarke's Scotland side as they get ready to embark on their Euro 2024 campaign with the showcase opener against Germany tonight.
It doesn't get much tougher than facing the hosts in Munich in the opening game, but businesses in the area are hopeful that the nation can still rise now to upset the odds.
Tron Place is all kitted out with the I Love Largs shop, Candy Box and Continental shops all bedecked in Scotland flags for the grand occasion.
Les Ward of 'I Love Largs' shop is backing Scotland to come away with a famous result.
Les said: "Scotland are 10/1 at the bookies to win tonight which is a massive price.
"Of course, Largs has a strong connection to the Scotland team who have over the years trained at the national sports centre at Inverclyde in Largs.
"I am going to go for 1-0 Scotland. Steve Clarke deserves massive credit for getting us there in the first place, and the Tartan Army are famous throughout the world."
Brian Flanigan will once again be decorating the Village Inn in Fairlie with all the colours of the Euros as Scotland look to make history and qualify out of the group for the first time.
Brian said: "I am going for a draw - let's be optimistic. Steve Clarke has done a fantastic job and all credit goes to him for bringing a bit of pleasure back to the Scottish public."
And Scott Paton of AD Paton Butchers says he can't wait for Scotland to kick off against Germany tonight, and has decorated his Aitken Street shop.
He said: "We have all our pies ready for half-time and we wish Scotland all the best.
"I predict 2-1 Scotland. Steve Clarke has helped to bring back the feel good factor to Scotland and everyone is excited.
"When you look at the players we have compared to other nations, we have really done well to beat the likes of Spain and Norway to get here, so we need to go in fully focussed and hopefully we can get a good result."
The Fish Works in Largs are also fully prepared for the big Scotland match with the seafront takeaway also fully decorated for the big match, with owner Tiffany and Ross Irvin and family having headed over to Munich for the spectacle.
And Millport is not missing out with The Tavern Bar fully decked out and ready for all the action: Scotland flags are everywhere, and the whole tavern is bursting with excitement for the big occasion.
And Jack's Alt-Stays, Millport eco accommodation providers, have also got into the spirit of things by flying the flag for Scotland.
