Largs Players have thanked the local residents who showed 'wonderful' support for their award-winning production of 'It's Behind You'.
Alan McHugh's play received its final local showing at a packed Barrfields Theatre as the Players fine-tuned the production ahead of the British One Act Play finals in Perth.
The play, starring Matt Wilkin and Danny Lindsay and directed by Maggie Cunningham, who said it had been "a joy to rehearse and perform", has already won the Scottish Community Drama Association's western district and Scottish national finals.
A Largs Players spokesperson said: "Thank you to the wonderful audiences who joined us last weekend for 'It’s Behind You'.
"Our fabulous cast and crew, including actors Matt and Danny, and director Maggie, had a great time after the show enjoying a very well deserved party to celebrate being Scottish champions.
"Huge thanks to all involved for organising the production and of course the party, and thanks to Morrisons community team for supplying party nibbles.
The British finals take place on July 12 and 13 at the Perth Theatre and Concert Hall, with the Largs Players competing against productions by English champions Total Arts Community Theatre, Welsh title-holders The Players Theatre, and Theatre 3 Newtonabbey, from Northern Ireland.
The Largs performance will be staged on the second day of the event.
