Pet shops in North Ayrshire are hosting a National Pets Day event in store.
Hooked on Pets, which has premises in Main Street in Largs and Hamilton Street in Saltcoats, are both taking part in the event which includes giveaways. goodie bag opportunities, and a raffle.
A shop spokesperson said: "Join us for our first ever national pet shop event on July 13 at our Largs and Saltcoats stores.
"We'll have a children's art competition, where kids can submit their best pet-inspired artwork for a chance to win some amazing prizes.
"Simply hand in your artwork to one of our stores by July 12 at 4pm. Don't miss out on the fun."
