A LARGS art gallery has announced plans for an open afternoon this weekend as it prepares for the launch of its latest exhibition.
Work has now started at Studio 44 Gallery for 'A Sense of Place', which will run from July 22 until August 8.
The exhibition at the studio in Boyd Street will include works by Angus Corbett, Elizabeth Lawson, Heather Meldrum, Jacqueline Curran, James Coogan, Jennie Vine, Lynn Campbell McGregor, and Sandy Gowings.
The event will also host works by new and emerging artists living in Ayrshire, Argyll and Inverclyde.
An open afternoon will be held to show off the new exhibition on Sunday, July 21 from 2pm until 4pm, when several of the artists whose will will be on show will be present.
Unfortunately Victoria Tonner has had to pull out of the show but there will be plenty of beautiful paintings to fill the walls.
