Police have arrested a person on suspicion of committing an assault in Largs town centre.
Officers say the incident happened in the town's Main Street on Tuesday, July 2.
According to police, as well as a reported assault, 'verbal threats' were also made by the individual, who was charged in connection with the alleged offences.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
The information was contained within the crime report provided by Largs Community Council by Police Scotland, covering mid-June to mid-July.
