Rowlands Pharmacy in West Kilbride has been hit by the global IT outage and is open for pre-made prescriptions only.
The company is run by pharmacist Julie Goldie, who has served the community in West Kilbride for 16 years, along with a team of colleagues from the area.
Ms Goldie said: "Global IT issue with Microsoft with thousands of businesses affected across the world due to an issue with Crowdstrike antivirus
"We have no computers, no tills, no phone lines. We will be remaining open only for collection of prescriptions already made up.
"Apologies but I'm afraid it's totally outwith our control."
