Tickets are now on general sale for the big Festival of Fire spectacular on the final weekend of the Largs Viking Festival.

The popular spectacle is always eagerly anticipated and starts with a torchlight procession followed by the re-enactment of the Battle of Largs in 1263, the burning of a longboat in Largs bay, and a stunning fireworks display which will light up the coastline.

Entry to the site for the event is by wristband only, with wristbands available at the Viking Village gate.

The festival of fire takes place at the Vikingar! putting green at 7.30pm on Saturday September 7, with gates opening at 7pm.

Your ticket gives you access to the Battle reenactment, torchlit procession, closer access to the burning of the Longboat and fireworks display.
