CalMac has explained the reason behind the cancelling of its 9.15am sailing from Largs.
The issue also led to the return trip also being removed from the timetabled service on Tuesday.
The reason given was because of a delay in fuel delivery, but the ferry service has now resumed.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "Due to delayed fuel delivery, the 9.15am sailing from Largs, and the 9.30am sailing from Cumbrae were cancelled.
"The MV Loch Fyne will resume service with the 9:45am sailing departing Largs."
