PLANS to expand a restaurant at a luxury Seamill hotel have been submitted to the local authority.
The owners of the Seamill Hydro have submitted a planning application to North Ayrshire Council to extend their Orangery restaurant.
The planning documents submitted with the application reveal that the hotel's restaurant would get a new decking along with the extension.
As reported last year, the long-established West Kilbride hotel has been acquired from the Sweeney family by the RAD Group after three decades.
It is the ninth venue for the company within the group, as they also operate the Lochside Hotel near New Cumnock, Dalmeny Park in Barrhead, the Royal Hotel in Cumnock, the Carlton Hotel in Prestwick, Hetland Hall near Dumfries, and the Radstone in Larkhall.
There is limited information about the proposed plans submitted with the application.
