A POPULAR butcher's shop in Largs is celebrating after a member of the team completed his modern apprenticeship.
Gerry McArthur successfully completed his Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 6 in Meat and Poultry Skills.
Pictured presenting him with his certificate is his mentor and shop boss Scott Paton.
The businsess has been serving Largs and the surrounding area since 1840.
A spokesperson for Craft Skills Scotland said: "It is always a pleasure to visit the shop as you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
"It’s evident from Gerry’s enthusiasm and passion for the job, always keen to share new products ideas, which boss man Scott encourages whilst keeping a close eye on the traditional aspect.
"From all here at Craft Skills Scotland, Gerry, a huge congratulations."
