A road safety event offering important driving advice and tips to assist motorists is taking place in Largs this August.
The free event will include valuable inputs from the police, fire service, local optician, road safety officers and much more.
It will take place at Largs Yacht Haven on Tuesday, August 20 from 9.30am until 12pm and 1pm until 3.30pm.
An event spokesperson for North Ayrshire Road Safety said: "There will be morning and afternoon sessions. Each session will provide a wealth of information from the police, fire service, road safety teams and other agencies.
"Each session will start with short presentations from the Police, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and a local optician. This will be followed by a first aid demonstration from the fire service.
"A number of North Ayrshire Council services and other agencies will attend the event, to provide information - from Trading Standards, Active Travel, RoSPA , KA Leisure etc.
"KA Leisure is offering free health checks.
"Our one bookable activity is an assessed drive, in your own vehicle, with RoSPA. This will give you the opportunity to pick up hints and tips on driving techniques.
"There are a limited number of assessed driving sessions."
