Work is continuing to repair one of Waverley’s steam winches after a fault was detected on Wednesday evening (24th July).
A spokesperson for Waverley Excursions said: "Unfortunately, the repair work is still underway and therefore Waverley is not able to sail on Friday 26th July.
"We do sincerely apologise for cancelling Waverley’s sailing as we understand the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause our customers and loyal supporters.
"Work is progressing as quickly as possible with the aim of having Waverley back in service on Saturday 27th July."
The Waverley's next visit to Largs comes on Sunday July 28 for a trip round Ailsa Craig.
