CalMac have suspended their ferry service for the rest of the day to day trippers due to high demand on the service.
It is to ensure there is enough capacity for ferry passengers to return home later in the day.
A CalMac spokesperson said: "Due to the large amounts of vehicles and foot passengers travelling today from Largs to Cumbrae service has been suspended for the rest of the day to day trippers this is to allow us to ensure travel back from Cumbrae later today.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The news follows long queues for the ferry Largs yesterday reaching nearly Charles Street, as you can see from the above photo at 1.15pm.
The Waverley have also suspended sailings for today and tomorrow but this is due to a technical fault affecting the winch. For full story go here https://www.largsandmillportnews.com/news/24480050.waverley-cancel-weekend-sailings/
