The annual West Kilbride Horticultural Society summer show will return on Saturday, August 17 in the Village Hall.
Show schedules are now available in most shops in the village and on PDF format on the society’s Facebook page.
The show will open to the public at 2pm and the tearoom will be providing an excellent scone tea with a home baking stall.
Classes for adults include pot plants, cut flowers, decorative arrangements, fruit, vegetables, baking and preserves. The junior sections includes garden produce, baking and special prizes for age related classes.
Entries for the show will be received at West Kilbride Village Hall from 7pm to 9pm on Friday August 16, and 8am to 9.45am on the Saturday.
A reminder to anyone who bought their potato seeds and bucket at the Spring Show to bring their bucket of tatties to the show to be weighed for the Tattiebogle Competition.
