A budding photographer captured the moment a superyacht visited Largs bay yesterday afternoon.
Liz Gray, who took the photo, said: "Super Yacht Berilda was cruising past Largs at 5.25pm today (Sunday). Something to brighten up a dull rainy night!"
The 47foot vessel was built in 2001 and comprehensively re-fitted in 2022 and boasts a high interior volume, generous guest spaces and sophisticated satin-finished mahogany panelling throughout.
A formal dining room on the main deck seats 10 guests comfortably. Berlida has accommodation for up to 10 guests in five staterooms, all with en suite bathrooms.
According to charter specialist company Frasers there is open-air dining on the spacious bridge deck and an impressive sundeck featuring a raised jacuzzi.
There is also a fully equipped sit-up wet bar beneath the hardtop, two C-shaped sun lounges and plenty of versatile deck space for exercise equipment, entertaining or sun loungers, although this was not in evidence yesterday.
According to the Frasers website, summer rates for chartering the vessel come in at €175,000 p/week, which works out at £150,000 per week.
