West Kilbride Museum is organising a trip to the Burrell Collection next month.
The event is taking place on September 11.
The coach will depart Corse Street, outside the community centre, at 10am prompt, and depart from The Burrell at 3.30pm to return to West Kilbride for approximately 4.30pm. The cost will be £14 per person.
The Burrell has an exhibition of paintings by the French impressionist Degas. Tickets to this can be purchased separately at The Burrell.
The exhibition will bring together around 30 works on loan from leading national and international collections, with Sir William Burrell’s outstanding collection of more than 20 works by the artist.
The loaned works include beautiful examples of Degas’ pastels and bronze figures from collections like the Musee d’Orsay in Paris and Tate London.
Sir William Burrell and his wife Constance, Lady Burrell were amongst the earliest Scottish collectors to buy art by Degas.
