A host of North Ayrshire businesses have been named as finalists in the prestigious 10th Food Awards Scotland 2024.
The Food Awards Scotland seek to recognise the hard work and efforts of those committed to always providing the country with the freshest of products and amazing delights.
They also showcase the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as those who explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.
The Niche Restaurant in Irvine has been named as a finalist in the Restaurant of the Year (South West) category.
Boulevard Café in Kilwinning and Brambles on the Isle of Arran are both competing for the Café/Bistro of the Year (South West) title.
Zain’s Curry House in Dalry, Viking Cafe and Seymour Store and Takeaway, both in Kilwinning, have been named a Takeaway of the Year (South West) finalist.
And for the Best Fish N’ Chips Establishment (South West), both The Fish Works in Largs and Melbourne Fry in Saltcoats have made the list.
Lawthorn Farm Pub and Indian Restaurant in Irvine is a finalist for Best Indian Establishment, and the same town's Adesso for Best Italian Establishment.
Largs' Deli il Cardo will battle in the Deli of the Year category.
Meanwhile, the Isle of Cumbrae's Round Island Cafe Bar, and both of the Isle of Arran's The Lighthouse and The Wineport get a mention in the dedicated Islands Food Business of the Year.
This prestigious event will take place on August 26 at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central.
