Children and families have been enjoying a range of activities over summer to help brighten up the school holidays.
Summer has mainly been a washout when it comes to the weather, but North Ayrshire Council has brought some cheer to families with a programme of summer events.
Activities involving youngsters in Largs, Fairlie, Skelmorlie and West Kilbride included a family fun day where more than 120 people joined in cooking classes, painting and lunch.
This event was hosted in West Kilbride Community Centre.
Kelburn Estate hosted a wellbeing event which saw 40 young people try their hand at making art from leaves and flowers, designing flowerpots and making organic bird feeders.
The Pencil monument event in Largs was enjoyed by almost 90 people and included archery, darts and a mini-Olympics course hosted by Active Schools.
A youth group trip to Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park near Stirling for young people from Largs and district was also arranged.
There was a Fun Day at Fairlie beach, where little ones used beach materials to create large sea creatures, and almost 70 people attended.
And more than 50 visitors enjoyed a fun day, with archery, mini golf, giant chess, games and indoor movies courtesy of Skelmorlie Community Centre.
Rhonda Leith, Head of Service for the Council’s Connected Communities service, said: “Hundreds of people enjoyed these fantastic summer activities, which were delivered by the locality team in conjunction with community partners.
“I would like to thank everyone who was involved in arranging the events, and I hope those who attended had a fantastic time."
