A MUSIC group in West Kilbride are preparing for their new season with plenty of performances for all ages.
The highly anticipated 2024/25 season for Music in West Kilbride will see a series of exciting performances that is set to appeal to music enthusiasts of all ages.
A spokesperson for the group said: "With a mixture of classical, jazz, folk, and contemporary music, the season is, once again, set to be truly memorable.
"You can expect the usual variety of highly accomplished artists, including a horn trio, a violin and double bass duo, guitar and soprano duo, and a clarinet quartet amongst the lineup."
Concerts take place in the West Kilbride Village Hall and the first of the brand new series features the highly-acclaimed concert pianist Nikita Lukinov on Friday, October 25.
A disciple of the Russian Piano School, Nikita began his musical education at the age of six and at the age of 10 made his debut performance as a soloist with a symphony orchestra, winning a full scholarship to study with Tatiana Sarkissova at the Purcell School.
In 2017, the pianist was awarded a full scholarship to study for a Bachelor’s Degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and he went on to obtain his Master’s Degree.
