A temporary road closure on the A760 has been lifted ahead of schedule after roadworks were completed at a brisk pace.
The road was to be closed between 9am and 6pm each day until Friday, September 13, with work having started on Monday.
However, the road has since fully re-opened on Wednesday afternoon.
The Clyde Coast Crematorium Facebook page stated: "Thanks to the hard work of the team working on the A760, the road works have been completed a day ahead of schedule.
"The road is now fully open."
