A YOUTH has been charged in relation to a number of offences which took place in Largs town centre last month.
The child was reported in relation to alleged shoplifting, police assault, threatening or abusive behaviour and obstruction.
A report has been sent to the Children's Panel.
The incidents took place in the town's Frazer Street on August 16, and were subsequently detected by police, according to a report given to Largs Community Council by Police Scotland.
The report detailed crimes which have been committed during the reporting period of mid-August to mid-September.
It was one of eight disorder offences committed during the reporting period.
