POLICE have made an arrest after a 'stalking incident' in Largs.
The incident occurred on August 17 within the town, according to a submission to the community council regarding recent crimes.
The documents contained information which stated that the alleged victim in the incident was put into a state of 'fear and alarm', and consequently reported the issue to police.
Police confirmed that the matter had been detected in the report to the community council.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
The incident was contained within the crime report which covered incidents in the town during a reporting period of mid-August to mid-September.
